Oh yeah…
That processor overclocks nicely… good choice. I’m not familiar with that motherboard, but make sure it supports overclocks well. The Gigabytes seem to, so you should be fine.
I have the same processor, and it’s humming along at 30% above normal specs quite nicely (around 3ghz) with nothing more than a BIOS change and no extra cooling. I spent money getting a good motherboard, and when I get the time I’ll see how far I can take it.

The spyware may not have been removed properly. Rootkits can be EXTREMELY difficult to remove.
Reboot into safe mode as your normal username. Go Start >> Run and type “regedit”. Go to the keys “HKEY / Current User / Software / Microsoft / Windows / Currentversion / Run” and “HKEY / Local Machine / Software / Microsoft / Windows / Currentversion / Run” and post the results of the left window here.
I’m pretty good at removing them. From the output of that I can tell you whether anything remains with 95% accuracy (there are more locations, but those are the telltales).

Time for a new post.

Has anyone else noticed how shit the quality of some of the free Siebel 8 update modules are? The audio of one I listened to today was completely unusable. The guy’s accent was hard enough to understand, but the audio was at a bitrate so low that the entire topic was useless.
I’ve never heard such poor audio released to the public. These are paying customers. I wouldn’t release material like that to my customers, and they’re paid a lot more than I am.

Removing trailing spaces in eScript
Hi mate… greetings from Australia

Nice blog… I’ve been developing in Siebel for 9 months so far. Very intensive training and work, but it sure is good to learn a hell of a lot so quickly.
Anyway… looking at this problem quickly using two functions that come to mind – split and replace – shows that they are more problematic in implementation.

Cheers for the elegant solution. A quick question though… how are the jobs over in Europe?

If you get stuck with this again, it is possible to use a tool such as this one:

to load LOVs in (or any small set of data – I built a tool like that a while ago and it’s most suited for data in the range of 20-1000 records, which suits LOVs well).
